Kaspersky AV v8.0.0.357 I have tried turning off the AV and profiling, still only get 80% 13. Describe your problem, provide full error messages, and please state clearly what you were doing when you received those error messages.
Trying to run the profile, error msg: Please Insert DVD of '1701 A.D.' Currently at 80.00% Sector Data. Have tried getting more sector data but 80% seems to be it. Side Note: I have ParaWorld Profiled and running off the profile. If I am reading the file info right it looks like it have v5.5.0.1 of Tages protection. There is also no file called Tagesclient.exe in the ParaWorld folder but there is one in 1701 A.D.
Turn on Advanced logging. Sertifikat na ankernie bolti m20. Getting a list of installed class filter drivers. Nope no go, redid the profile completely and nada.
Still stuck at the 80% mark. Interestingly tho when I did it the first time, the profiling I mean, just after you posted the dll I go a billion popup error msg windows. Haven't seen them since and have profiled a couple games since, namely LEGO Batman & LEGO Indiana Jones including reprofiling 1701 A.D. Both LEGO games profiled just fine, securom protection. 1701 is still in the same condition as before tho no popup error msg this time. Included are the Summery & Profiler logs: I should make mention as I am not sure if this effects the log that I did try the option to get more sector data on 1701 A.D. After the initial fail.
This may be of some interest Matthew as now having done a complete scan with Protection ID I see that 1701 A.D. Has BOTH Tages & Solidshield protection which may be causing the problems between GJ & this game. -=[ ProtectionID v0.6.0.0 BETA XMAS 2007 PREVIEW]=- (c) CDKiLLER & TippeX Build 12/24/07-16:18:13 Scanning -> C: Games 1701 A.D 1701-AddOn.exe File Type: Exe, Size: 5012448 (04C7BE0h) Byte(s) -> File Appears to be Digitally Signed @ Offset 04C6678h, size: 01568h / 05480 byte(s) -> File has 4926072 (04B2A78h) bytes of appended data starting at offset 015168h [!] SolidShield detected! - Scan Took: 0.376 Seconds Scanning -> C: Games 1701 A.D 1701.exe File Type: Exe, Size: 4947592 (04B7E88h) Byte(s) -> File Appears to be Digitally Signed @ Offset 04B6930h, size: 01558h / 05464 byte(s) -> File has 4873520 (04A5D30h) bytes of appended data starting at offset 012158h [!] SolidShield detected! - Scan Took: 0.501 Seconds Interesting to note also that while I do see the tagesclient.exe file and it did in fact install the tages drivers, no mention of tages is made by Protection ID.
You will see that >I. You will see that >I. Click to expand.i also didn't intend to make this a bickering post, just (as stated) the inaccuracies need to be cleared up. I'm also not a mind reader. So if im a 'git' for pointing out the fact that you didn't really do your research and posted misleading information (albeit at 3am with no real checking being done) so be it. Have you had any problems with the original at all?
(asking, to rule out the possibility that the drive itself may have 'issues' with tages. Not all drives like seeking backwards). The main issue with some of the tages games is that to get everything 'right' to emulate it you need to play the game through (only some of the commands sent to/from the cd/dvd happen at certain times. Level x and so on), and unless a complete (and accurate) image is made (which reads both forwards and backwards and records the results to playback both possiblities) its a 50/50 on it working or not.
