Simulate the tones of an x-ray camera. Open the image for editing. Dupliate the current layer (Ctrl+J). Invert the current layer (Ctrl+I). Add a layer mask to the current layer (Layer> Add Layer Mask> Reveal All). With the layer mask selected, use the 'Apply Image' tool to apply the following properties: Source: filename Layer: Background Channel: RGB Invert: Checkmarked Blending: Normal Opacity: 100% Click OK. Add a 'Hue/Saturation' layer style (Layer> Layer Style> Hue/Saturation).
